The Baltimore ACM Chapter has arranged for a panel discussion on technology policy featuring experts from industry, government, and the media. The topics of discussion will include the role of computing in improving governance (like CitiStat), promoting education in math and science to develop the future technology workforce in the region, and policy at the state level to promote computing and software technology sector.
